Our refinery stands recognized by the Reserve Bank of India, Mumbai and India Government Mint. We use electrolysis method for refining. The silver refined by us is well known under the brand name of Jalan bearing Duck brandmark as the registered trademark.
We have been exporting refined silver bars and utensils to foreign countries’ suppliers, refiners and melters like Johnson Mathhey, Engalhard, Mocatto through state trading corporation and many exporters. Our products have been well appreciated for their quality and purity.
Our silver assay laboratory is following the method recognised by Reserve Bank of India. All the laboratory equipments are as per the specifications of the India government Mint.

OUR LEGACY
Founded by Late Shri Girdhari Lal Jalan s/o Late Shri Debi Dutt Jalan of Sonapatty, Kolkata, in the year 1967, our journey has been a consistent evolution.
From leading the domestic Indian market of GOLD and SILVER Bullion trade in the 60’s to setting up the RBI (Reserve Bank Of India ) approved refinery in late 70’s.
Establishing a world class manufacturing facility for minting of Coins, Bars, Medallions, Fabrication of Gold and Silver Ornaments, Utensil Wares in 1979, to setting up of retail shops for jewellery and silver ware in 80’s. Establishing a BIS (Bureau Of Indian Standards) approved ISO 17025: 2005 accredited Assaying And Hallmarking Lab in the year 2000. Approved ISO 17043: 2016 accredited PTP and ISO 17034 accredited RMP in the year 2020 and to producing gold and silver BNDs.
